Honor View 30: Release Date, Price, and Specification [Leaks]

Honor, the sister brand of Shenzhen, China headquartered Huawei Tech, is all set to launch its new premium phone Honor View 30 or V30. The official announcement is scheduled for November 26. If we go by the rumor mill, the tech major is taking its double phone launch strategy forward this time as well with the launch of Honor View 30 and Honor View 30 Pro.

Honor View 30 Leaks

Image leak published on China’s Weibo platform (@WhyLab) suggest that the Pro variant will come with 5G support and the all-powerful 60 MP sensor by Sony and punch-hole selfie camera. The company seems to be in an aggressive mood to counter the Mate 30. Photo leaks suggest that the back camera will be in a square shape as was in Mate 20.

Thankfully the rumor mill has moved from the name guessing phase, which covered names like Honor View 30 and the View 30 Pro, Nova 6, and Honor V30 and V30 Pro, and now entered into the verified Honor View 30 image leak phase. Going by the specs of predecessor Honor View 20, the expectations are quite high and the company seems to be ready to meet those expectations with 5G variant. If this is true as shown in leaked images, then Honor will join the league of 5G phone makers with a bang. The competitive pricing will give Huawei an amazing edge over opponents in a fast-evolving 5G mobile space.

Honor View 30 Launch and Price

If we go by the rumor mill, the Honor View 30 and View 30 Pro will be launched first in China on November 26 followed by a launch in Asian and European markets. Although the exact price of the phone is not yet known, it is likely to be much less than most of the flagship brands. The company launched Honor View 20 at around $650 or Rs. 37,999 and if we go by experts, the Honor View 30 could be priced in the same range with Honor View 30 Pro with a little higher price tag.

Honor View 30 Design & Display

The official teaser of Honor View 30 available on Weibo @WhyLab suggest that the new flagship phone will have an all-screen front with a dual-lens selfie punch-hole camera at the top left corner. The leaked images show that the back camera will have a square design with four lenses.

Although there is no official confirmation so far, it seems that the back is made of glass with a dual color scheme of pink and blue. Since the leaked image doesn’t have any hint of the fingerprint sensor, it means it will be on the front screen. As far as the screen size is concerned, nobody has any clue but it is likely to be 6.5 inches. If we go by rumor, the basic Honor View 30 is coming with an LCD display and the Honor View 30 Pro is likely to have OLED display.

Honor View 30 Camera & Battery

The image leak pro SlashLeaks published on Twitter that the Honor View 30 might come with the triple-lens 60MP rear camera and a single-lens punch-hole camera on the front. And taking a step further the Honor View 30 Pro might don four-lens 60MP rear camera and a dual-lens punch-hole camera on the front.

If we go by sources the Honor View 30 Pro might have a camera matrix photography algorithm, meaning it will have a 20MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 3D time-of-flight (ToF) depth sensor.

And the Honor View 30 will have a 16MP ultra-wide snapper, a macro lens, and a depth sensor. This is creating a bit of confusion, as it isn’t saying anything about the 60MP camera is the vanilla version.

Honor View 30 Battery

There is nothing official about it but if we go by leak updates then the Honor View 30 is coming with a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. The advancer View 30 Pro is coming with a 4,200mAh battery and 40W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

Honor View 30 Specs

The new launch will carry the top-end Kirin 900 chipset, as in the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. If we go by an update on GSM Arena the Honor View 30 Pro will have the Kirin 990, which is rumored to be a 5G phone. The Kirin 990, as company claims, is the most powerful and 26% smaller than the Snapdragon 855 and outperforms it by 10%.

It is just a matter of days as the official release, at least for China, is on November 26. Going by the track record, the specs and look are likely to be the same as released in the leaks.
